Eagle Golf Club 
The race for the Eagle Golf Cup is open to every member of the Eagle Golf Club (EGC). Members will earn points through the regular season competition (Points Race) and Match Play (if scheduled) to determined how they finish in the regular season. Prize amount for the winners of season long race will be open only to those members who buy-in into the Season Member Prize Pot before the 3rd event of the year. All other participants will be ineligible for Season Member Prize pot.
Eagle Golf Cup
The Eagle Golf Cup is awarded to the EGC Player of the Year. It is a traveling trophy that is accompanied with a plaque* for the winner to keep.
* The EGC Board reserves the right to substitute the plaque for a trophy
HOW TO ENTER
Each EGC Member is entered by playing at least one Regular Season event. There is no additional cost.
EGC CHAMPIONSHIP
The cumulative total of top 8 events will determine the Eagle Golf Club Champion.
POINTS RACE
The Points Race is a regular season competition in the EGC. Points are accumulated at each event based on the Net Finish in the member’s Flight.
ENTRY FEE | Included in Green Fee
The Best 8 of 11 Event Point Totals are combined to determine place winners for the Regular Season competition.
EVENT POINTS BREAKDOWN
Participation. Every member receives 100 points for participating in an event
Net Flight Finish:
The following points are awarded based on the the members Net Finish in their Flight:
1st – 1,000
2nd – 950
3rd – 900
4th – 850
5th – 800
6th – 750
7th – 700
8th – 650
9th – 600
10th – 550
Gross Flight Finish:
The following bonus points are awarded to the members Gross Finish in their Flight:
1st – 300
2nd – 200
3rd – 100
The most points a member can earn in a single event is 1,400 points
PRIZES
- First Place in the Regular Season Points Race will receive Eagle Golf Cup which can be kept for 1 year. In addition to Eagle Golf Cup, the winner will receive a first place trophy to keep.
- Second Place in the Regular Season Points Race will receive a runner-up trophy to keep.
For Season Member Pot Participants :
First 3 placed positions will receive Prize Money based on participation in Season Member Prize Pot. The amount will be determined and announced prior to the last event.
MATCH PLAY
The Match Play contest is a 32-Man Single Elimination Bracket. Members can earn bonus points towards the Regular Season competition.
ENTRY FEE | $TBD
Bracket Seeds are determined by when the entrant signed up…the 1st to sign up is the 1st seed.
All players must win to continue through the competition.
MATCHES
Each round will last 2-weeks starting on June 1st. Matches must be scheduled between the pairings for that particular round. The match is played using your Net Score. Matches can be played in conjunction with a regular season event; however, there can be no concessions during a regular season event as it is stroke play and all putts should be holed out.
If the match is not completed by the end of the round, the winner will be decided by a coin flip conducted with at least two EGC Board Members. Coin Flips for any unplayed matches will happen the morning on Day 1 of the following Round in which the match was missed.
POINTS
Each Member will get 100 points for participating in each round. The winner of each match will get another 100 points. The points will be awarded in addition to the Best 6 of 11 Event Point Totals within the Points Race.
PRIZES
The Top 3 Places will receive Prize Money. The amount will be determined and announced prior to the last event.
